Base value (Belarus): what it is

A notional unit in Belarus used to calculate fines, fees, benefits and tax deductions. From 1 January 2026 the base value is 45 Br; the government reviews it.

Russia has no such unit: amounts are set in roubles, and many payments are tied to the minimum wage (MROT) or the subsistence minimum.

Kazakhstan

The Kazakh equivalent is the MRP: 4,325 ₸ in 2026.

Belarus

The base value from 1 January 2026 is 45 Br. Fines, state fees, some benefits and scholarships are expressed in it.
