Key rules

Russia

On deposits, compound interest comes from capitalisation (капитализация): 100,000 ₽ at 12% with monthly capitalisation grows to 112,683 ₽ in a year, and without it to 112,000 ₽. A credit card debt grows the same way if you do not pay it.
