One-off birth grant: what it is

A one-time payment from the Social Fund to one of the parents for each child born. From 1 February 2026 it is 28,450.45 ₽.

In Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus

Russia

From 1 February 2026 it is 28,450.45 ₽, more in areas with a regional coefficient. The SFR pays it to one of the parents, whether working or not; apply within 6 months of the birth through Gosuslugi, the SFR or an MFC. It is not taxed.

Kazakhstan

In Kazakhstan in 2026 it is 38 MRP (МРП, monthly calculation index; 164,350 ₸) for the first to third child and 63 MRP (272,475 ₸) for the fourth and later children.

Belarus

In Belarus it is 10 BPM (БПМ) for the first child and 14 BPM for the second and later children; from 1 August 2026 that is 5,303.70 Br and 7,425.18 Br.
