In Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus

Russia

Without meters, water is charged at the standard consumption rate with an increasing multiplier, so meters usually pay off — check in the water meter calculator. Hot water from the tap must be at least 60 °C; if it is colder, you can demand a lower payment.

Kazakhstan

In Kazakhstan, hot and cold water is paid to the suppliers at tariffs approved for each city — by meter or by consumption standards.

Belarus

In Belarus, hot water is paid as cold water and wastewater plus the heat energy used to heat it.
