Since 2019, municipal solid waste management (обращение с ТКО) has been a separate utility service. The tariff is approved by the region, which also chooses the calculation method: per person or per m². If the fee is charged per resident, you can get a recalculation while temporarily away.

In Kazakhstan, solid household waste collection is paid to the carrier or operator at a tariff approved by the local authorities — as a rule, per person.
Belarus
